Theater attendance and income figures submitted to United Artists by theater managers were verified against the reports that Confidential Reports compiled based on visits to theaters. This ledger's entries, arranged by film title, indicate theaters investigated, locations, dates, film rental costs, and the fee charged by Confidential Reports. The ledger also indicates what portion of the fee was paid by UA or by producers, who appear to have paid a substantial share.
